1. Holiday celebrations and the Candlelight Processional
The holidays are always far more magical at Walt Disney World, with all four parks getting in on the action with ongoing celebrations and special events. In Epcot you can discover the rich cultural traditions of diverse nations by visiting the different pavilions in the World Showcase. This is the time to enjoy live authentic holiday music, seasonal food, and other festive follies from around the world. You can even catch Santa Claus during select times at the American Adventure Pavilion. But perhaps the highest holiday highlight in the park comes in the form of the world-renowned Candlelight Processional. From the end of November through the month of December this nightly engagement takes place at three distinct times. Held on-location at the America Gardens Theatre, this event combines the powerful telling of the savior’s birth by a special celebrity narrator and stellar music cultivated from a 50-piece orchestra and masses choir. From the harmonious sounds to the stunning backdrop, it’s truly a marvel to witness.
The experiences to be had at Epcot are seemingly endless. In addition to all the aforementioned, there are many other explorations to be enjoyed as well. Make your own memories from a whole host of possibilities, and choose the ones that create the most magic for you personally.
