2. Not Being Prepared for Inclement Weather
Despite Florida being dubbed “The Sunshine State”, this state is also notorious for heavy rainfall. Bring a poncho. Also, during the winter months, Florida can even be (gasp!) chilly for out-of-state guests. Be mindful of the forecast, and don’t hesitate to pack boots, sweatshirts, and long pants if necessary.
