9. It’s A Small World (Fantasyland)
Lovingly known as “The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed”, this very popular, iconic boat ride was officially dedicated at Disneyland on May 28, 1966. Walt Disney himself, along with children from all over the world in their native costumes participated in the momentous ceremony by pouring vials of water from their homelands into the water of the canal on which the special Small World boats traveled. After debuting at the 1964-65 New York’s World’s Fair, it was moved to Disneyland in 1965. A version of this ride was opened at Walt Disney World in 1971, and today “It’s A Small World” is represented at every Disney Resort worldwide. The audio-animatronic children of all nations in their native costumes, dancing and singing the “Small World” tune will delight the whole family. Fast Passes are available.
