Top 10 Rides at Magic Kingdom Park

7 Dwarfs Mine Train

1.  Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Fantasyland)

This attraction was part of the Disney World “New Fantasyland” expansion, and ever since its opening day on May 28, 2014, it has been a favorite with increasing popularity every year.  The innovative, patented ride system is an original design developed at Walt Disney Imagineering, which features 5-car trains designed to swing independently from side to side as they move along the track, which enables guest to enjoy a different experience every time they ride.  The theming and detailed landscaping are taken right out of the feature length animated film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.  This attraction has the most creative interactive queue with hands on games that kids and their parents alike have fun playing.  The ride itself is filled with sharp curves, plenty of ups and downs, but slows down as the cars pass through the Diamond Mine.  This part of the ride is so “Disney” with the animated dwarfs mining for diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and other precious gems.  The brilliant colors and audio animatronics are spectacular, and most riders can be heard singing along with the dwarfs to the happy tune of “Heigh ho, Heigh ho, It’s Off To Work We Go”.   As the cars leave the mine, there are more twists and turns before you reach the end of your journey.  This ride is not your typical thriller roller coaster, but because of the new technology of a quiet track, swinging cars, and imaginative theming, it remains to this day a very popular family friendly ride.  There is a height restriction, and Fast Passes are recommended.

There you have it, ten of the most popular rides at the Magic Kingdom.  There are so many more rides and attractions to enjoy at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.  I would strongly suggest getting Fast Passes for most of the rides listed in this article.  I would also advise anyone traveling to Walt Disney World to plan a minimum of two days or more for each theme park, especially the Magic Kingdom.  For anyone planning to visit Walt Disney World:  “Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidociously magical Disney World vacation”!
