10. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Walt Disney World’s New Fantasyland is made up of many new and exciting attractions and rides, but one of the favorites to date is the “Seven Dwarfs Mine Train”. The ride is based on the famous full length animated feature film, “Snow White”. It is a roller coaster like no other, thanks to the new innovative ride system that allows cars to pivot back and forth during the twists, turns, hills, and drops of the ride. It is a rocking, rollicking family-style coaster that will entertain guests with a thrilling adventure into the world of Snow White and her friends: Doc, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, and Dopey. Climb aboard an oversized mine car for a playful musical adventure into the mine where “a million diamonds shine”. The trip through the mine is filled with animatronic dwarfs mining for precious gems of all shapes and colors, while singing and “whistling while they work”. Even before the ride begins, there is an interactive queque, where parents and children can participate in jewel sorting, jewel washing, and enter the vault, where wooden barrels are overlfowing with glowing stones. Turn the barrels to see the ceiling above you transformed! I would strongly advise securing a Fast Pass+ for this immensely popular attraction.
Well, there you have it, my list of the top ten rides and attractions in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. Of course, Fantasyland is where magic and fun come together to make wishes and dreams come true for people of all ages. It is a land where age does not exist and memories are made that will last a lifetime. Walt Disney had this to say about Fantasyland: “Here is the world of imagination, hopes and dreams.
