10. Punny and Delicious
The Wilderness Lodge is known for many dining options, most notably, The Whispering Canyon Café. This restaurant is nestled right up against the hotel’s cavernous and rustic (yet luxurious) lobby. Even more so than its hearty comfort food, The Whispering Canyon Café is known for its wise-cracking staff (much like the Prime Time Café). Don’t be fooled though. This is still a great option for foodies. Specifically, I’d recommend the “All-You-Care-To-Enjoy-Skillet”. This massive entrée includes everything on your barbecue wish list from ribs to fried chicken to cornbread to mountains of corn and creamy potatoes. Just remember to pack your stretchy pants.
