9. Capt. Cook’s (Breakfast)
For those that want to dine at the Poly for less cash, Capt. Cook’s is the destination for you! Not only is the price reasonable and the location ideal, but you can order the famous banana-stuffed Tonga Toast off the menu! (The only other venue that offers this treat is the hotel’s muchmore expensive Kona Café.) Plus, the Aloha Isle stand is a short walk away if you decide that you also need a Dole Whip…
10. California Grill
A personal favorite of mine, The Contemporary’s California Grill is the ultimate Disney Dining experience. This stunning restaurant sits at the top of the hotel and offers birds-eye views of the Magic Kingdom and the entire monorail line. When dining, this establishment is known for exceptional sushi, flatbreads, steaks, and high-end California wines. The best part of all though is that by eating a meal here, you are welcome to watch the park fireworks from the hotel’s observation deck. This is a glorious method for beating crowds and getting a unique view of the “Happily Ever After” spectacular! This can’t be recommended enough.
