5. BB-8
Hiding out in the Launch Bay’s X-Wing hangar is our favorite soccer ball droid. On the run from the First Order and hiding battle plans for the Resistance, BB-8 is on a mission to meet and greet his fans. This whirling and chirping animatronic is practically movie quality, and an absolute delight for any robot enthusiast, let alone those hardcore Star-Wars fans among us. He moves, turns his head, and reacts to guest interaction. Of the three big players in the Launch Bay, BB-8 is perhaps the most geek-out worthy, his adorable clicks and blips will melt the hearts of any visitor.
6. Kylo Ren
Perhaps the most intimidating character you can meet in the parks, Kylo Ren, the shadow of the Sith can be found in his own little corner of the Dark Side in the Star-Wars Launch Bay. This masked master of maliciousness is fiercely more interactive than our last character, and probably has the most memorable interactions of all the characters found on this list. While many Star-Wars purists certainly miss the days of Darth Vader, Kylo Ren’s Meet and Greet is a must do for anyone wanting to take a peek at the Dark Side of the Force.
7. Chewbacca
And now we come to the most popular character in the Star-Wars portion of the park, our favorite walking carpet, Chewbacca. This lovable Wookie can almost always be seen in his own queue area of the Launch Bay, posing for photos and bear hugging all of his fans. Not as interactive as Kylo Ren, but every Star-Wars fan worth their salt can easily interpret those familiar grunts and growls of Chewie’s particular vernacular. This Meet and Greet is perfect for fans of all levels and all ages, and should not be missed on your next trip to a galaxy far, far away.
