The Right Way To Tackle Walt Disney World When You're Short On Time

Space Mountain

3. Plan for a Long Day

Obviously this can only work if the members of your group can handle a really long, busy day. But if you only have one day to spend, make the most of it! We often recommend breaks and not pushing too hard when you're on a week-long visit. But if you only have a day, get there at rope-drop and stay through the fireworks! You can sleep in and take it easy the next day. I DON'T recommend this plan if you're visiting with young kids, unless you know they can handle a busy day. If your little one is going to be cranky and unhappy skipping nap or staying up past bedtime, by all means don't. Disney isn't that fun with a cranky, overly-tired child!
