Not To Miss Magic Coming to Disney THIS Month

A new month means new magical adventures and experiences coming to Walt Disney World.  Each month Disney brings new experiences for Guests and this month is no exception.  If you have a vacation planned for August, you will want to make sure that you are aware of these experiences that will be available to you when you arrive at Walt Disney World.

The exciting part is that these are the fun and magical experiences we know about right now.  As the month continues, who knows what other amazing desserts, merchandise, and experiences will pop up throughout the Walt Disney World Resort Property.

We are going to share what we know and then stick around this month for anything new that might come up.

More Booths at EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival.

This might seem crazy since EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival started in mid-July, but there are still booths that haven’t opened to Guests.  There will be some late additions coming this August that you won’t want to miss trying while visiting the festival.

Coastal Eats, Hawai’i, Mac & Eats, and then Noodle Exchange are the four booths that we know will be opening on August 15th.  All four are booths that we have previously experienced at a festival, and we are excited to have them back once again.

The Noodle Booth was first seen in 2021 and features flavors of the Far East in a variety of noodle dishes.  In 2021, the menu included dishes such as Tofu Pho and Thai Shrimp and Coconut- Curry Rice Noddle.

We love mac & cheese and can’t wait to have this booth back once again.  Not only is there the traditional macaroni & cheese offered here, but you can spice up your entree with pork belly and brisket in the Cowboy version or add chili for a chili-cheese version.

For some tropical flavors, Guests will enjoy the Hawai’i Booth.  This booth features pineapple flavors in a delicious slider as well as a rice bow and a passion fruit cheesecake.  Coastal Eats has smaller offerings with a baked scampi dip and oysters Rockefeller.

All four booths add some great flavors that we are excited to have back this year.

Halloween Celebration

The fall celebration starts early at Walt Disney World.  If you are heading down this month, great ready to see fall decorations such as pumpkins and more throughout the four Disney Parks.  Although the temperatures might not feel like fall, Disney starts the celebration early.

On August 12th, Guests will be able to really get into the fall spirit with the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.  This party is a special ticketed event that runs on August 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 30th.  The party runs from 7 pm to midnight each night.  Even if you aren’t attending the party, make sure you pay attention to these dates.  Magic Kingdom will close early to non-party Guests at 7 on these evenings.

For those attending the party, they will be able to experience trick-or-treating, the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade featuring the Headless Horsemen.  There will also be a party-exclusive fireworks show called Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular which the Pumpkin King himself Jack Skellington hosts.

Guests won’t want to miss the fun and hilarious Sanderson Sisters as they take the stage for a Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show.  Guests can also experience the many rides in Magic Kingdom as well as special photo opportunities and so much more.

As we are all gearing up to head back to school, Walt Disney World is already in fall mode this month.  Decorations and Halloween parties will be rocking in August.

More Buffets Return

Slowly we are seeing buffets return throughout Walt Disney World.  As Walt Disney World began to reopen, many traditional buffet locations such as Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom and Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom returned as family-style or pre-fixe dining options.

Slowly we have seen these dining locations transition back to buffet offerings and this month one more restaurant has announced that it will be moving back to a buffet.  Hollywood and Vine over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be transitioning back to a buffet on August 28th.

It will be interesting to see how this transition goes as many Guests have been raving about the pre-fixe offerings here.  Hollywood and Vine offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner thought the day.  In the morning, Guests are visited by Disney Junior friends.  At lunch and dinner, Minnie hosts her seasonal party along with some of her friends.

We look forward to seeing how this transition goes this month.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Reopens

It has been a long time waiting for this magical extra to open back up at Walt Disney World.  We were hopeful it would be coming as the Disney Cruiselines started offering it on board.  On August 25th, Guests will once again be able to experience Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Guests ages 3 to 12 are transferred into their favorite Disney characters by Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices.  This includes hair, makeup, costumes, and everything else you can imagine.  We are thrilled to see all the new costumes that feature both heroes and heroines.

Reservations haven’t opened yet, but should at any time.  This will be an extremely popular experience so make sure you get those bookings made quickly.

Each and every month there are new exciting experiences at Walt Disney World.  Guests can find new treats, meals, merchandise and so much more.  These are just some of the great options coming this August.
