3. Lights, Camera, Mickey
What would Hollywood Studios be without Disney’s brightest star? Mickey and Minnie’s Red Carpet Dreams recently replaced Disney’s Art of Animation and now Mickey and Minnie take the starring roles in this film-themed Character Meet and Greet. While Minnie takes the part of a glamorous Hollywood leading lady, Mickey dons his robe and hat in his most iconic role, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Though the Art of Animation attraction is very much missed, the adjoining character cue has certainly received an upgrade. Mickey and Minnie both have fully decorated and fully furnished spots for Meet and Greets and photo ops. Though Minnie’s queue sparkles and shines with the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, Mickey’s is far more impressive. Mickey’s area is a fully furnished scene straight from Fantasia, complete with spell books, medieval tapestries, a cauldron, and of course a mischievous broom frozen in the corner. This is a photo op for fans of Mickey’s classical work or those wanting some literal magic in their memories.
