5. Future World vs. World Showcase
Epcot is divided into two main sections: Future World towards the front, and World Showcase towards the back.
- Future World is where Spaceship Earth (the iconic "giant golf ball") and most of the park's rides are located, with a general focus on innovation, science, technology, and futurism. Here you'll find attractions such as Test Track, Mission: Space, The Seas with Nemo & Friends (which includes Turtle Talk With Crush and a huge aquarium exhibit), The Land (where the Soarin' ride is located), Journey Into Imagination with Figment, and more.
- World Showcase is made up of 11 pavilions representing various countries from around the world. In clockwise order, they are:
◦ Mexico
◦ Norway
◦ China
◦ Germany
◦ Italy
◦ United States
◦ Japan
◦ Morocco
◦ France
◦ United Kingdom
◦ Canada
The pavilions are filled with architecture, shops, restaurants, attractions, and music inspired by their respective countries, plus they're staffed by actual citizens from those places. It's a great way to make a trip "around the world" in one place.
