7. What to Pack
Depending on the time of year you will be visiting Walt Disney World, you will want to pack according to weather forecasts. Florida’s weather can be unpredictable, so it’s a good idea to bring weather appropriate clothing. In the early months of the year and into Spring, lightweight jackets, sweatshirts, and jeans are a good choice. Florida is also known for its almost daily afternoon thundershowers, so ponchos and umbrellas are also recommended. For those hot, humid months, shorts, t-shirts, and hats to keep your heads cool are advisable. Don’t forget your swimsuits. Even in the fall and winter months, there are days when the temperatures are warm enough for a relaxing swim, and most of the Resort pools are heated. It is also important to bring several pairs of comfortable shoes that have been broken in and are ready for a lot of walking.
