17. "Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress"/Tomorrowland
Walt Disney once stated that the Carousel of Progress was his favorite attraction and that it should never cease operation, and it hasn’t. It was created by Walt Disney himself for the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair, and when the World’s Fair ended, it was moved to Disneyland in California,and later, in January,1975, it was moved to Walt Disney World. “ Disney’s Carousel of Progress” is one of the oldest attractions at Disney World and holds the record for the longest running stage show, with the most performances in the history of American Theater. It is also the only attraction at Walt Disney World to have been touched by Walt Disney himself. Through the years this attraction has become a definite “must do” for several generations of Disney fans.
