4. “It’s A Small World”/Fantasyland
This is not a thrill ride, but it is a ride as old as Disney World itself. Walt Disney himself dedicated the original “Small World” attraction at Disneyland on May 29, 1966, a few short months before Walt Disney’s death in December, 1966. The version of this famous attraction is a bit different at Disney World, but the theme is the same for “the happiest cruise that ever sailed”. Children of the world in their native costumes celebrate with song and dance the fact that it is a small world after all, and we are all a part of that world. It’s a charming boat ride featuring beautiful scenery, colorful audio animatronic children, cheerful music, and an endearing theme.
