6. Research and Select Your Resort
Once you’ve decided when you want to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, start looking at the options for resorts (if you are choosing to stay on property) – Disney has three separate levels for resorts on property. The Value Resorts offer the most economical way for guests to visit – the rooms have basic amenities, but lack on detailed theming and other niceties of a full-service resort (a food court cafeteria as opposed to a sit-down restaurant and lounge). Deluxe Resorts offer guests a phenomenally well-themed resort experience with pools, special activities, restaurants, bars, lounges, and transportation. Moderate Resorts offer a combination of the two – an affordable guest experience balanced with theme and amenities.
