6. Rise and Shine

If you want to get the most out of your time at the Disney Parks, an early start is nearly mandatory. If you are looking to hit big name rides like Soarin’, Big Thunder Mountain, or Expedition Everest, arriving early will almost always guarantee a shorter wait time. Watching a Disney Park opening ceremony is also something not to be missed, watching the gates open to guests following a musical or pyrotechnic display is always a great way to start the morning. If you’ve not seen the drum circle at Epcot or Let the Magic Begin at Cinderella’s castle, this writer highly recommends those two the most. After you’ve seen the openings and enjoyed the major rides, you have the rest of the day to yourself.
