Epcot 101 - 15 Things You Should Know About Disney's Park Of The Future

Donald Duck

5. Characters?

Originally there weren't going to be Disney characters at Epcot. Figment, a little purple dragon representing imagination itself, was created to be the mascot for the park. As the years passed, guests demanded more characters so although there aren't a lot of obvious meet-and-greets, if you head over to the World Showcase, you can see Alice in England, Snow White in Germany, or my favorite, Donald Duck in a sombrero in Mexico.

6. The Seas with Nemo and Friends

The Seas with Nemo and Friends (formally known as Living Seas) lets guests venture down into the ocean into Nemo's world. Guests can explore coral reefs and watch sharks or even talk to our favorite sea turtle, Crush. It has one of the largest saltwater tanks in the world, holding 5.7 billion gallons of water. It is located in Future World and is worth your time. In case you didn't realize, you're gonna learn something in this park.
