Disney World 101- What You Need To Know About The Most Magical Place On Earth

Waterparks Disney

3. Water Parks

Disney World wouldn’t be complete without waterparks. Blizzard Beach is a wintry water wonderland, home to Summit Plummet, a 120-foot water slide on top of Mount Gushmore. There are several speed slides, a white-water raft ride, and bobsled runs, just to name a few. Typhoon Lagoon is another Disney waterpark, but it’s a bit tamer compared to Blizzard Beach. Here you’ll find one of the world’s largest wave pools, a lazy river, and a variety of speed slides. You can also borrow snorkel gear and swim in the shark reef. It’s safe and fun for anyone age 5 and up. If you want to learn how to surf, consider signing up for the early morning surf clinics. You’ll be able to train with professional surfers in the wave pool before the park opens!
