Disney Does What? 10 Disney Vacation Experiences that May Surprise You!

DAS Pass

10. The DAS Pass

If you are blessed to have a loved one in your traveling party who triumphs daily over developmental, cognitive or other disabilities that make waiting in queues difficult, challenging or over-stimulating for him or her, Disney has a very special service just for your family. It’s called a Disability Access Services Pass, or DAS Pass. The bearer of a DAS Pass (or a member of his traveling party on his behalf) can approach the podium at the FastPass+ entrance to most attractions and request a return time from the Cast Member. This eliminates the need for waiting in a queue. The Cast Member at the podium will give a time at which the Guest with a DAS Pass, as well as his traveling party, can return to ride the ride or enjoy the attraction. To receive the DAS Pass, simply go to the Guest Relations location at the park you visit on your first day in the parks. The DAS Pass will be linked to the MagicBand of the Guest with a disability and will be valid for the duration of your time at Disney World; you will not need to get a new DAS Pass at each theme park you visit. This phenomenal service makes it easier for Guests with disabilities to enjoy Disney World—it has made it possible for my son to have a blast in the parks! I can’t imagine Disney without it!
