The two Port Orleans resorts are unique of all of the resorts at Disney World.  Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside are situated directly next to one another and sit alongside the banks of the Sassagoula River.  Since the resorts are so close to one another, guests can take a leisurely walk between the resorts or take one of the boats that shuttle guests between the resorts and Disney Springs.  So, while you may be a guest at Port Orleans French Quarter, you will easily be able to enjoy the amenities of Port Orleans Riverside, as well. One of the best benefits of staying at either of the Port Orleans resorts is the dining options available to guests.  Here is the overview of everything you need to know about dining at the Port Orleans resorts!

5. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (Port Orleans French Quarter)

The quick service dining option at French Quarter, guests are able to get a variety of Southern, creole, and cajun inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  At breakfast, in addition to a variety of pancakes, guests can sample a fried chicken biscuit with maple bacon jam, a Cajun grit bowl served with shrimp, a breakfast po’boy, and the best breakfast choice of them all — a Mickey shaped beignet!  During lunch and dinner, guests will find various burgers and sandwiches, jambalaya, a rice bowl, shrimp and grits, as well as gumbo.  This is a great choice for a quick meal before heading to the parks or after a day in the park before hitting the pool to cool off!
