An Overview of Walt Disney World’s Resort Hotels

Wilderness Lodge

5. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge near Magic Kingdom draws its inspiration from the look of U.S. National Park lodges. You won’t know you’re in Florida, thanks to the lush forests, creeks, wildlife (armadillos, deer and more) and an overall “rustic” feel. This resort has something for everyone—even down to the type of accommodations you prefer. Choose from standard guest rooms, suites, villas, cabins or even campsites if you prefer tent or trailer camping. If you’re staying in a cabin, Disney offers a service that allows Guests to call ahead of their visit to order items for their pantries—when you arrive, your items are already in your cabin. (Housekeeping even does your dishes for you!) While at Wilderness Lodge, take part in activities such as pony rides, campfire sing-alongs with Chip ‘n’ Dale and more. You can even learn archery! Dine at Artist Point and take in breath-taking views of nature while you eat. Even the swimming areas have that rustic charm!
