12. Haunted Mansion
A classic attraction dating back to opening day at Magic Kingdom, the Haunted Mansion remains delightfully relevant despite its age. Between the simple but convincing effects, the campy dialogue filled with puns, and the entertaining, interactive queue, it’s no wonder that Haunted Mansion rates highly with Disney guests and in many cases still tops their lists of favorite attractions. And we mustn’t fail to mention the sublimely deadpan Cast Members in the attraction who dryly welcome you to Gracey Manor and direct you to the doom buggies. One of the very few places where Disney does not require CMs to smile, the Haunted Mansion is as popular with applicants to Disney World as it is with guests to the park!
