3. Early-Mid May
March and April bring some pretty intense spring break crowds. Easter doesn’t help anything, and the week before Easter often means parks that are filled to capacity. Fortunately, there is a calm after this storm and it takes place during the first three weeks of May.
During this time, all the schools are back in session and the parks are relatively peaceful once again. There are some smaller crowds during this time, and the weather does tend to be on the warm side, but all in all this is a wonderful time to hit the parks.
