Staggering Cost of Magic Kingdom Attraction Passes Confirmed for Thanksgiving 2026

Disney has set a new high for Lightning Lane pricing at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass will cost $479 on Monday, November 23, and again on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26. Multi Pass and Single Pass prices are also rising at all four parks that week, extending increases that began on November 1.

The timing puts extra pressure on one of the busiest, costliest weeks of the year. Many families won’t be able to absorb these prices, and with holiday crowds driving standby waits higher, thousands of guests could miss out on major attractions because of either cost or time in line.

Premier Pass Breaks Past $449

Until now, $449 was the ceiling for Magic Kingdom’s Premier Pass, usually reserved for peak periods like Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The November 23 price adds $30 to that and sits $180 above the $299 entry price Disney introduced earlier in 2026.

Thanksgiving Day joins Monday as one of only two dates at the new ceiling. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday are priced at $449, and Friday, November 27, is the cheapest day of the week at $429.

The Other Parks Peak on Monday

November 23 is the priciest date resort-wide. Premier Pass reaches $269 at EPCOT, $219 at Animal Kingdom, and $369 at Hollywood Studios, each matching that park’s highest-ever price. On Thanksgiving, Premier Pass drops to $229 at EPCOT, $179 at Animal Kingdom, and $339 at Hollywood Studios.

Multi Pass follows suit. Magic Kingdom hits a record $45 on Monday and $42 on Thanksgiving. EPCOT opens the week at $35 and falls to $28 on the holiday. Hollywood Studios holds at $39 Monday through Wednesday, then $37 on Thursday, while Animal Kingdom stays at $29 early in the week before easing to $25 for Thanksgiving.

Single Pass Ceilings Move Up

On November 1, 2026, Disney raised the maximum Single Pass price at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Avatar Flight of Passage, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Cosmic Rewind and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train took the biggest increases, each up $3 at the top end.

Single Pass is sold separately from Multi Pass and covers headline rides left out of the Multi Pass lineup. Prices move with date and demand, so the maximum isn’t charged every day. Cosmic Rewind, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance now share the resort’s top Single Pass price of $25.

Over Thanksgiving week, Rise of the Resistance stays at $25 daily, and TRON Lightcycle / Run reaches $25 on November 23 and Thanksgiving. Cosmic Rewind is $25 on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday but $23 on Thanksgiving. Avatar Flight of Passage holds at its all-time high of $20 all week, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opens at $18 before settling at $16.

What’s Behind the Increases

Holiday programming is in full swing. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is running at Magic Kingdom, Disney Jollywood Nights is underway at Hollywood Studios, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays opens later this month. Add Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation crowds, and standby lines stretch long enough that many guests buy Lightning Lane regardless of cost.

Prices still vary by date, so not every trip will hit these peaks. The My Disney Experience app shows exact pricing for individual dates.

Disney reports fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year results on November 17, which should offer a clearer look at theme park revenue and guest spending.
