Disney World Confirms Return of $349 Reservations, Higher Prices Possible
Walt Disney World is bringing back an exclusive experience for 2026, but guests hoping to attend should prepare to spend hundreds of dollars for a single reservation.
Disney has confirmed that one of its popular holiday celebrations will return later this year, offering visitors a special way to enjoy the festivities without spending the entire evening inside a theme park.
However, the experience comes with a substantial price tag.

Last year’s reservations reached $349 per person, meaning a family of four could spend nearly $1,400 on one evening.
And with Disney preparing to announce new details, there’s a possibility that this year’s experience could cost even more.
Disney Confirms $349 Experience Will Return
The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill is officially returning to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for the upcoming holiday celebration.
California Grill, located high above the resort, is known for its impressive views of Magic Kingdom and its nighttime fireworks.
The restaurant has become a popular destination for guests who want to enjoy Disney’s fireworks while dining away from the crowds inside the park.
According to WDW News Today, Disney has confirmed that additional information about this year’s celebration will become available on November 11, 2026.
The experience will include a special meal at California Grill and views of Magic Kingdom’s New Year’s Eve fireworks.
However, Disney hasn’t announced the official price for the upcoming event.
Last Year’s Reservations Reached $349 Per Person
Guests considering the experience should look at what Disney charged during its previous New Year’s celebration.
Last year, California Grill offered three different reservation options.
The December 30 experience cost $229 per person, while the early seating on December 31 increased to $299.
Guests who wanted to attend the later New Year’s Eve celebration paid $349 per person.
The experience also included a special four-course meal.

For a family of four, the most expensive reservation would have totaled $1,396 before any additional applicable charges.
And that was last year’s price.
Disney hasn’t confirmed whether those rates will remain the same for 2026, but guests should prepare for the possibility of an increase.
Considering the premium nature of the event, a significant price reduction seems unlikely. The final cost could potentially exceed $349 per person, although Disney hasn’t confirmed any changes.
November 11 Announcement Could Reveal New Prices
Disney has identified November 11 as the date when additional details about the celebration will become available.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean guests will be able to book their reservations immediately.
Last year, reservations didn’t open until late December, just days before the December 30 and 31 celebrations.
It’s unclear whether Disney will follow the same approach this year.
Guests interested in attending should watch for information about pricing, seating options, and reservation availability.
The upcoming announcement could also provide a better idea of what Disney plans to include in this year’s experience.
A Costly Way to Celebrate New Year’s Eve
California Grill offers something that many Disney restaurants cannot: elevated views of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks from the comfort of a signature dining location.
For guests who want to avoid the enormous crowds that typically gather inside Magic Kingdom on New Year’s Eve, that convenience may justify the premium price.
However, spending nearly $1,400 for four people is a major expense, especially for families already paying for hotels, theme park tickets, and other vacation activities.
And if Disney raises prices, the total could climb even higher.
For now, guests have until November 11 to wait for additional details.
While the final price remains unknown, one thing is clear: this returning New Year’s Eve celebration will likely remain one of Walt Disney World’s more expensive dining experiences.
