Disney Launches Exclusive Collection You Can’t Buy in Parks
Raise your hand if you have hundreds of Disney PhotoPass pictures sitting in an app that you swore you’d turn into a photo book. Yeah, us too. Disney just announced something that might finally get those photos off your phone.
Shutterfly is now the Official Photo Gift Partner of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Disney and Shutterfly announced the news on October 20, 2026, and part of it is already live.
Your PhotoPass Photos Can Go Straight to Shutterfly
Starting now, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort guests can choose to have their Disney PhotoPass photos automatically appear in their Shutterfly account. It’s opt-in, so you have to turn it on, but once you do, your photos just show up there.
From there, you can store them, look back at them whenever you want, or turn them into photo books, cards, gifts, and other personalized keepsakes. No more downloading everything, digging through folders, and uploading pictures one at a time after the trip. That process is exactly why so many of us never actually print anything.
Disney PhotoPass photographers snap families every single day in front of Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, and Sleeping Beauty Castle, and most of those great shots end up forgotten. This makes it a lot easier to actually do something with them.
And if the sync covers attraction photos, that could include fun ones like the new Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin on-ride photo, which puts your score and rank right on the picture. That one definitely belongs on the fridge, especially if you beat everyone else in your family.
What Disney Is Saying
Gary Daniels, Senior Vice President of Disney Products & Experiences, said the whole point is keeping memories going after the trip ends. With Shutterfly, he said, “we’re making it easier for guests to bring those memories into their everyday lives.”
Shutterfly CEO Emily Whittaker described the partnership as a way to link the moment a photo is taken with the keepsake that comes later. Which, fair. That’s pretty much Shutterfly’s whole business.
Cruise Fans Have to Wait a Little Longer
If you’re sailing with Disney Cruise Line or staying at Aulani, you’re not left out, but you’ll have to be patient. A similar setup is coming in early 2027 and will also connect to Disney Cruise Line Photo.
The Timing Is Pretty Smart
This announcement lands right at the start of holiday card season, and that’s probably not a coincidence. If you’ve been staring at your vacation photos wondering which one to use for this year’s card, this just made it a whole lot easier.
There’s another holiday photo opportunity coming up too. Disney Jollywood Nights returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 7, and PhotoPass downloads are included with every ticket. So those festive pictures could go straight into Shutterfly and onto your holiday cards in no time.
There’s a Whole New Disney Shop on Shutterfly
Shutterfly is also expanding its relationship with Disney Consumer Products, and there’s now a dedicated Disney shopping hub on Shutterfly.com. It puts photo books, cards, home décor, games, ornaments, and other personalized gifts all in one spot.
The best part is the new Disney Parks-inspired collections, which you can only get on Shutterfly.com. The Walt Disney World designs pull from Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Over on the West Coast, Disneyland Resort collections feature Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. Disney and Shutterfly say more collections celebrating Disney experiences are coming.
New Character Designs Too
Character products are getting a boost as well, with new designs featuring Toy Story, Cars, Mickey & Friends, and Winnie the Pooh. The Pooh timing is perfect, since he’s celebrating his 100th anniversary this year. A Pooh-themed photo book of your vacation sounds pretty adorable, not going to lie.
For families who come home with way too many PhotoPass pictures, this is a welcome shortcut. If you’ve got a Disney trip coming up, it’s worth turning on the Shutterfly sync before you go so your photos are ready and waiting the second you get home.
