Disney World Confirms Hocus Pocus Showtimes as Halloween Party Nears

We are one week out.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party opens next Friday, August 7. That means Magic Kingdom’s Halloween seasonstarts in seven days.

If that snuck up on you, welcome to the club. The party landing in the first week of August catches people off guard every year, and it never feels like it should be here this fast.

For anyone holding tickets, this is the week when planning starts to matter. The party is packed. Tickets run $119 to $229 per person, depending on the night, and there is a real gap between an evening you mapped out and one you winged. At those prices, missing something you wanted to see hurts.

Which is why late-breaking showtime news is worth paying attention to. Every confirmed time gives families something to build around, especially when you are juggling a parade, fireworks, a stage show, and trick-or-treating with kids who need to be in bed at some point.

Today, one of the last gaps got filled. Disney confirmed showtimes for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

The Times

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular performs at 9:05 p.m., 10:35 p.m., and midnight at every party.

A fourth showing at 7:35 p.m. will likely be added for dates after September 27, but the Walt Disney World calendar has not yet posted times past that date.

Look familiar? They should. These match the 2025 showtimes exactly, so if you already have a party routine that works, nothing needs to be rebuilt.

What You Are Watching

First-timers, here is the rundown.

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is the stage show in front of Cinderella Castle, and it only runs during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Regular park days do not get it.

The Sanderson Sisters headline, brewing up a party potion with help from Disney Villains, including Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie, and Maleficent.

It is one of the biggest draws of the night. The castle forecourt packs in well before showtime. Three showings give you options, and the midnight one usually has the most breathing room if you can hang that late.

The Rest of the Schedule

With this confirmed, the core lineup is basically set.

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade runs twice nightly. First at 8:15 p.m., second at the traditional 11:15 p.m.

That 8:15 p.m. slot is a big deal for families. Disney moved the first parade into a sunset window back in 2024, so younger kids could see the whole thing before bedtime, and it is back for 2026. The catch is crowds. Earlier shows draw more people since there is no late-night payoff to arriving early. Want that parade? Get to the route well ahead.

The parade starts in Frontierland near Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and heads down Main Street, U.S.A., toward the Fire Station. One thing that trips guests up: the pre-parade Max and the Powerline Party Pack only happens on Main Street, U.S.A. Not the full route. Position accordingly.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks run once nightly at 10 p.m. Projections cover Cinderella Castle and a huge Jack Skellington takes the forecourt stage, so the hub in front of the castle has the best views. It is also the most crowded place in the park at that hour.

Stacking Your Night

Put it all side by side, and the shape shows up.

The 9:05 p.m. Spelltacular slots between the 8:15 p.m. parade and the 10 p.m. fireworks. Tight, but doable if you camp in the castle area for all three. That 8:15 to 10:15 window is the busiest of the night in the hub, and also when trick-or-treat lines elsewhere start thinning.

The 10:35 p.m. show pairs cleanly with the 11:15 p.m. parade if you would rather ride attractions earlier.

Midnight is the night owl play, and the one most likely to feel comfortable.

Party ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m., so you get up to eight hours in the park. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members get ten dollars off tickets.

Still Waiting On

The party runs select dates from August 7 through October 31, 2026.

A handful of offerings still lack confirmed times: Masquerade with Stitch, the Disney Jr. Jam Dance Party, Halloween in Storybook Circus, the Cadaver Dans, and the Rusty Cutlass Pirate Band. Those should land before opening night.

Also worth noting, this event has already sold out some dates this year. If you are still on the fence, that fence is getting shorter.
