New Footwear Store Closer to Opening at Disney Springs and the Signs Prove It

Disney Springs guests who have been keeping an eye on the storefront between Levi’s and Harley-Davidson finally have something new to look at. Branded signage just went up at the future home of Vans, the California-born footwear and lifestyle brand that has been quietly working toward its Disney Springs debut since the partnership was announced back in March.

No official opening date has been confirmed yet, but the storefront is no longer a blank construction wall. It is starting to look like a Vans store.

What the Signage Looks Like

The front doors currently display red signage that reads Vans is coming soon. The windows are covered in a teal checkered pattern that immediately calls to mind the brand’s signature checkerboard aesthetic, one of the most recognizable design elements across Vans footwear and apparel for decades. The storefront itself features a peaked roof supported by wooden beams and stone pillars, with black signage bearing the Vans logo printed in white lettering across the front and sides of the building.

This kind of branded signage typically goes up in the final weeks before a grand opening rather than months in advance, which is the most encouraging detail for guests who have been waiting on this one.

Where the Store Is Located at Disney Springs

The future Vans location sits in the Town Center section of Disney Springs, between Levi’s and Harley-Davidson. The space has cycled through different uses over the past several years. It previously hosted a holiday art gallery and, before that, served as the home of Volcom, which closed permanently in April 2025. Town Center remains one of the busiest retail corridors at Disney Springs, making it a logical landing spot for a brand with the broad appeal Vans carries.

Why This Opening Matters

Vans has built a meaningful relationship with Disney over the years through a series of collaborative footwear and apparel collections that consistently rank among the most sought-after pieces in the Disney fan and sneaker collector communities. A dedicated Vans store on Disney Springs property gives those collaborations a permanent home, meaning future releases will be available directly at Walt Disney World instead of requiring a trip to a third-party retailer or a scramble on the resale market.

There is also a fitting symmetry to the partnership itself. Vans was founded in Anaheim, California in 1966, just eleven years after Disneyland opened in that same city. Both brands share deep roots in Southern California creative culture, and the arrival of a permanent Vans location inside a Disney property, even one located across the country in Florida, continues a connection between the two brands that has already produced years of crossover collections and shared cultural relevance.

The Bigger Picture at Disney Springs

This signage milestone arrives during a period of meaningful change at Disney Springs. The district has recently welcomed new additions, including Six Ravens and Level99, while also navigating shifts like the removal of food trucks from the West Side and new restrictions on watercraft and bus access for non-resort guests. Against that backdrop, a recognizable brand like Vans moving steadily toward its opening date is a welcome sign for guests who want to see the retail lineup at Disney Springs continue to strengthen.

For Walt Disney World visitors, Vans is already a familiar name. The brand has built a loyal following among park guests specifically because its footwear balances comfort, durability, and style across the kind of long, high-mileage days that define a typical theme park visit. Having a dedicated location at Disney Springs will make it considerably easier to pick up a new pair before heading back into the parks.

The signage is up. The wait is getting shorter. Disney Springs guests passing through Town Center should keep watching that storefront, because the next update is likely to be the one everyone has been waiting for.
