Guest Poops on the Floor of Disney World Ride, Walks Away
In late November, a Walt Disney World Resort guest allegedly defecated on the “Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid” ride at Magic Kingdom Park and walked away, leaving Disney cast members to clean up the mess. The event was caught on video and shared by an Instagram user, showing cast members working quickly to sanitize the affected ride vehicle as guests waited for the attraction to resume.
On November 26, Instagram user @cee_702_ posted a video showing Disney cast members halting “Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid” to address the situation. The constantly-moving ride was temporarily paused while custodial staff took care of the cleanup; in the footage, guests can be seen waiting to board. It’s unclear how long the attraction was down, but it was back up and running shortly after the vehicle was cleaned.
This incident at Walt Disney World Resort follows a similar situation at Disneyland Resort last month. Around the same time, a video surfaced from Disney California Adventure Park, where a young boy allegedly jumped out of a raft and defecated in the water on the Grizzly River Run ride. @therichbabymomma shared this video on TikTok:
The incident sparked a heated debate about parental responsibility and safety at theme parks. Some urged Disney Parks fans to have compassion for the child’s family, as he may have autism or another disability.
“My boy on the spectrum RUNS to bodies of water because he loves to swim and splash around so we have to hold him close around water,” @rxsemvry24 commented. “I’m so glad they were kind to him it’s not his fault, I empathize with the parents.”
“For the people saying that if he’s on the spectrum it shouldn’t matter, you obviously don’t know what a parent goes through with a child with a disability,” said @kitty_scorsese. “At times our kids are super fast that even when we are helicoptering them they get away fast.”
Others blamed the child’s mother, who reportedly didn’t help first responders coax him out of the ride’s water.
“Spectrum or not parents have to do a better job of controlling the situation,” @burntwater6 argued. “He could’ve seriously been hurt then what?”
“I’m seriously so sad how the spectrum has become an excuse for child endangerment,” @xomiss.brittany replied. “There’s literally blades on that track.”

This was actually at the Disneyland resort. The older gentleman in the video (cast member) with the long hair, is a friend of mine
I agree with those who are criticizing the act/parents. In the video, a man is holding him on the edge of the boat & then let’s him go into the water vs pulling him back up. Then the man is laughing as the boy splashes in the water. This is totally unacceptable!!! Stop using excuses for failure to control your children. I know families who have autistic children and this is not the norm.
Ms. Colopy should be ashamed of herself for writing this article, especially as a former Disney College alum. Not only does your article contain incorrect information regarding the location and date, but it is horribly humiliating. Lots of people suffer from very serious medical issues which make accidents such as this unexpected and uncontrollable. Some also have colostomy bags that break/leak and some people just suddenly fall ill with no warning or control. This is one of the most embarrassing things that can happen to someone, and you felt the need to write an article about it and post it on the internet to further traumatize this person all in the name of getting views and traffic to your page? SICK. I hope you never have something like this happen to you but karma may get you one day.
Seems like the Democrat run states and ideology is rampant. No manners and no moral compass. To defecate on a ride!!!!! And see an adult put a child in the water on a ride!!! Doesn’t matter what mental illness they have. To risk a child’s life and other adults is just vile. And to use the spectrum as an excuse is just like what the leftist woke ideology would think. But if that child got hurt the parents would try to sue instead of taking accountability of their actions. Well go figure when your political ideology is to release criminals and make them seem like hero’s and then criminalize the hero cops into something they are not. But that’s the ideology of wokism. And this is what you get. Sad.
What does politics have to do with this? This persons post should have never been allowed. KEEP POLITICS OUT !!!!
