9. Check Out the Christmas Decorations
One of the biggest reasons to visit Disney World in the winter is to see all the yuletide decor, both in-park and at their resort hotels.
That's right, even the resorts have decorations you simply must check out. We like to do a little "resort hopping" by taking the monorail around the Seven Seas Lagoon and stopping at the Polynesian, the Contemporary, and the Grand Floridian. In the latter's case, there's even a life-size gingerbread house in the lobby every holiday season.
You can also hop over to Wilderness Lodge and view the massive Christmas tree while sitting in comfy chair by the roaring fireplace. Highly recommended experience.
