9 Tips for Driving and Parking at Walt Disney World

3. Use the Outside Lane

As you enter the parking lots in the four theme parks, look ahead to determine which way the parking attendants are directing traffic. Most often there will be two lanes of traffic; try to get in the outside lane if you can. As a general rule, cars in the outside lane will obtain the better (i.e. closer to the tram) spots. Meaning, if cars are being directed left, the odds are in your favor in the right lane, and vice versa.
