5. Disney World pros always use the FastPass+ system.
If you’ve never been to Disney World before, you may not even know what the FastPass+ system is. Simply put, Disney’s FastPass+ system allows you to skip the long lines for certain shows, attractions and character encounters by reserving times to have these experiences in advance. There is a limit of three FastPass+ selections per day, until you’ve used your third FastPass+ selection. After that, you can make one FastPass+ selection at a time, depending on whether there are any times still available. If you and your family are staying on Disney property during your vacation, you can make FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance. If you are staying outside Disney property at a hotel or rental house, you can make those selections 30 days in advance. Only a Disney World rookie would leave things up to chance. Pros know that not making FastPass+ selections in advance may land you and your family in stand-by queues for all the attractions you were hoping to experience—especially if you’re visiting during peak season.
