8. Avoid High Traffic
Perhaps the most important thing you can do in order to avoid long wait times for Disney transportation is to ride during the less busy times. While this won't always be possible if you are hoping to catch the nighttime shows, if can be done some (or even most) of the time and will really help save you some trouble.
So when are those peak times? In general, 9am until noonish and the hours directly before and after park closing are the worst times to ride. If you find yourself leaving around park closing times due to circumstances beyond your control, consider waiting around for the bus and monorail lines to die down.
