3. The Lines Are Short
Probably due to the fabulous rescheduling policy, the days immediately before a hurricane have incredibly low attendance in the parks. This year we went to Hollywood Studios two days before Hurricane Irma was scheduled to hit. The crowds were amazingly low—I mean 10 minute wait for Toy Story Mania and Rockin’ Roller Coaster kind of low! Unheard of! Also, the skies were pleasantly overcast as the state began to feel the effects of the storm, which made for a nice, cool park experience as well.
