5. The Parks May Close
If a hurricane is projected to impact Orlando, Walt Disney World Parks may close. This happened in 2016 for Hurricane Matthew and just recently in 2017 for Hurricane Irma. However, this is still somewhat rare. The only other instances of the parks closing happened in 1999 for Hurricane Floyd, 2004 for Hurricane Francis, and again in 2004 for Hurricane Jeanne.
