3. Train Engineer
Working on one of the Walt Disney World Railroad trains is a very distinctive honor and requires special training and experience, but what a thrilling job to be in charge of driving one of Walt Disney World’s vintage locomotives around the Magic Kingdom. The engineer has the responsibility of not only driving the train, but also monitoring the speed, air pressure, and the other instruments to keep the engine running smoothly. The Magic Kingdom train engineer also makes sure there is nothing on the tracks ahead, applies the brakes when necessary, and sounds the train whistle before and after leaving each depot.
