In a study of 1,399 people, Karen Matthews of University of Pittsburgh’s Mind-Body Center found those who vacationed were more likely to experience positive emotions and less likely to suffer depression. ‘People who had more leisure activities "reported more life satisfaction, finding more meaning in life," says Matthews,’ as reported by the NPR. So not only is Disney the happiest place on earth, one could reasonably conclude that after a Disney trip you’d be more happy no matter where you are on earth.
