When you think of Disney World Resort Hotels, what's the first image that pops into your mind? Are you picturing the Seven Seas Lagoon near Magic Kingdom, surrounded by "monorail resorts" like the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian?
If so, you're not alone. The Magic Kingdom area is certainly the most "Disney World" place on all of WDW property. However, there's also something to be said for the handful of resorts near Epcot, all but one of which are Deluxe Resorts situated around Crescent Lake — the one outlier being Caribbean Beach Resort, a Moderate Resort situated in an area away from the others. We won't worry about that one for this article since it's pretty separated from the group.
