6. The Polynesian Village Resort
One of the original WDW resorts, The Polynesian Village Resort is a fan favorite among Disney Vacation Club members and newbies. This tropical themed location transports guests to an island paradise. Enjoy the Hawaiian-inspired room décor and note that the air always has the scent of pineapples. Speaking of enjoyment, you’ll definitely want to set aside some time in your schedule just to soak in all the resort has to offer. (Personally, I can’t get enough of their onsite restaurants, like ‘Ohana. Breakfast at this spot features many lovable characters, like Lilo and Stictch, and dinner is known for its family-style barbecue feast.) From shopping to eating your weight in Dole Whips to relaxing on the hammocks by Seven Seas Lagoon, this resort is the definition of vacation.
