There was a time not too long ago when Animal Kingdom was considered a half-day park by the majority of Disney World visitors. There was little to do in the park when compared to the other Disney park options, and while what they had there was good, it wasn't enough to constitute using a full day of precious park time.
That said, over the past few months Animal Kingdom has seen some pretty big changes for the better. Many of these changes have included new entertainment options, and all of them are now working together to change the status of Animal Kingdom from a half-day park to a full-day park.
