1. 50’s Prime Time Cafe’—Echo Lake
The name of this phenomenal dining establishment says it all. This dining adventure is truly a “blast from the past”. For those older citizens, the memories come flooding back of eating dinner at the kitchen table while watching one of those entertaining primetime hits of the 50’s, like “I Love Lucy”, “Leave It to Beaver”, “Father Knows Best”, “Perry Mason”, etc. The furniture is also retro, with formica tables and and vinyl chairs. The menu offers those old-fashioned comfort meals that “Mom” spent all day cooking and preparing for her family. Three favorites are “Mom’s Old Fashioned Meatloaf”, “Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie”, and “Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken”. You’d better make a “happy plate” or your server will give you the “Mom Treatment” and insist that you eat every last bite on your plate, and “elbows off the table, please”! Adults and children alike will appreciate what good food, great service, and live entertainment are all about here at the “50’s Prime Time Cafe’.
