6. Rosie’s All-American Cafe’—Sunset Boulevard
This is such a great place to sit and have some good food while watching the crowds go by. It’s an outdoor area with lots of picnic-style tables and chairs, covered with large umbrellas, and it sits at the crossroads between the Rockin’ Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror attractions. While you’re sitting there, you can actually hear the screams coming from the Tower of Terror, as the doors of the outside elevator open just before the sudden drop. Now to the food: there are several choices, namely, a 1/3 pound Angus Onion Straw Cheddar Cheeseburger with French fries or cole slaw, Chicken Breast Nuggest (8 count), also with fries or coleslaw, and my favorite, a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich (fried green tomatoes topped with Jalapeno ranch dressing, Pepper Jack cheese, and tomatoes topped with Arugula on Ciabatta bread; sooooo delicious! Desserts and beverages are also available.
