2. Big Blue Pool – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
If you have never seen or experienced Big Blue Pool, you’re missing out on something fun! This pool is both Walt Disney World’s newest and largest resort pool. Big Blue is themed after Finding Nemo, which means the area is designed to make guests feel like they are underwater in the middle of the ocean. With fun sculptures of fish and characters from the movie surrounding the area, guests can swim around and feel like they are on an adventure with Nemo and friends! Like many other resort pools, Big Blue Pool has lounge chairs, areas for small children to play, and a pool bar, so there’s something available for everyone. The most unusual and fun feature about this pool is the innovative underwater sound system. Guests going for a swim underwater can hear music and Finding Nemo character voices, which makes for a memorable swimming experience!
