1. Port Orleans French Quarter
If you are looking for a moderately priced resort option near Epcot you should consider staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. The resort is just a short bus ride away from the front gate of Epcot and is always my family’s top resort pick for Disney race weekends when we line up at Epcot to begin the race. Gorgeous architecture, a fun alligator band themed pool and a great New Orleans vibe are guest favorites at French Quarter. Epcot buses run frequently, the price is much lower than a deluxe resort and kids love the Princess and the Frog-esque theming of the resort. Eating hot beignets with steaming coffee for breakfast in the resort quick service restaurant, Sassagoula Floatworks Factory is my favorite way to start the day at Port Orleans French Quarter before a trip to Epcot.
