1. Drones being used in nighttime shows
This year, Disney has added a holiday drone show to the lineup of entertainment offerings at Disney Springs. This is a first for not only the Disney Parks, but also in the United States as a whole. The show, entitled Starbright Holidays—An Intel Collaboration, features 300 drones that will light up the night sky set to a beautiful, original Disney arrangement of holiday songs. With this brand new technology being introduced and implemented for the first time, it begs the question of whether or not we might see drones used in future nighttime shows throughout the parks. Only time will tell, but it’s certainly possible and in keeping with how technically advanced Disney has become.
