1. “Star Wars” inspired Disney Resort (Coming in the near future)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios--This will be the first Disney Hotel of its kind at Walt Disney World—a truly out-of-this-world experience. From the moment guests enter this “Galaxy far, far away, they will become part of the “Star Wars” storyline, citizens of a new galaxy, including dressing up in “Star Wars” attire and interacting with the Resort staff. Guests will discover a starship filled with characters, stories, and adventures that come alive all around them. It is revolutionary, exciting, and a thrill ride like no other, except, it’s not a thrill ride. This is an adventure that guests will never forget; a chance to become part of the growing “Star Wars” phenomenon.
Walt Disney once said “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world”. Even though Walt passed away before Walt Disney World was completed, his ideas were carried out by his brother, Roy, and officially opened on October 1, 1971. I believe if Walt had been there for the opening, he would have felt the same about Walt Disney World; that it also would never be completed. He would have seen for himself that imagination is still alive and well in the world. With the development of new Disney theme parks and new and innovative Disney Resort Hotels, the Disney name has become a standard for fun, exciting, and magical family entertainment. In the year 2021, Walt Disney World will be commemorating its 50thanniversary and I intend to be a part of that awesome celebration.
