15. Plan, plan, plan!
Disney World is the best place on Earth for a family vacation, but it’s the worst place to go if you haven’t done any planning. Don’t pack up the kids and head for the parks thinking you’ll find a hotel or resort once you’re there. Not only could you find yourself in quite the lodging quagmire because of occupancy rates, but you may also find yourself spending much more on a room if it’s one of the only ones not yet booked.
