It’s no secret that Orlando, Florida can get pretty toasty and humid, especially during the summer months. Because Florida weather can be so unpredictable and hot, Walt Disney World designed many queues to keep guests cool and comfortable while waiting for their favorite attractions. If you find yourself at the Magic Kingdom on one of those famous hot Florida days, here are a few rides you should check out to enjoy the cool, comfortable queue!
1. The Barnstormer
This child friendly rollercoaster ride features a fun queue, but it does go from outdoor to shade, so it may not be the most comfortable on a hot day. However, it is mostly shaded and features fun animatronics, theming, and more to keep you and young riders entertained as they wait.
2. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
While this queue is located outdoors, it is mostly shaded, which is always a plus! In addition to the shade, there are plenty of interactive areas for guests young and old to enjoy as they make their way through the line.
3. Haunted Mansion
This is another queue that is mostly outdoors, but it is pretty well shaded with tarps, so don’t worry about sunburn. It’s also a fairly interactive queue that features fun detail and excellent theming to keep you busy as you wait. Once you make it inside, everything is dark and cool, so the wait outside is well worth it in the end!
