7. Everyone Standing Up During the Fireworks
Why does this happen? Everyone is seated and relaxing while waiting for Wishes Nighttime Spectacular to begin. Then the fireworks start, and everyone stands up! Why? It’s not like you can see them better if you stand up – they’re up in the sky! In fact, if everyone remained seated even children would be able to see the fireworks while comfortably sitting. But without fail, several people at the front of the crowd jump to their feet and like a wave, it spreads. Only once did my group manage to remain seated during the fireworks, and it was because I convinced everyone in the immediate vicinity that we were in a “no standing area”.
